On Africa Day, we come together to shine a light on the essential work of Women Human Rights Defenders (WHRDs) facing increasing challenges in shrinking civic spaces. With speakers from Zimbabwe, South Sudan, and beyond, this event will focus on how the international community and diplomatic missions can strengthen their support for WHRDs in navigating threats like physical violence, cyber harassment, and restrictive laws.
